I myself am cooking, I started yesterday. Cut up and cleaned greens. Decided that I can do a little at a time, but this morning my hands are so stiff. I will rest and make mac and cheese tonight and stuffing and put the turkey in in the am. Taking advantage of my insomina, so things can get done. Most of the cooking is easy and can be prepaired sitting so its not that bad. I look at it as I won't have to worrying about cooking again until Monday!!!

Members shared their approaches to managing Thanksgiving cooking despite chronic pain and fatigue, with the overwhelming consensus being to prep incrementally over several days, sit while working when possible, and accept help without guilt. Several members described strategies like peeling potatoes in advance, using disposable plates and pans to reduce cleanup, splitting tasks among family members who also have health issues, and planning rest days after the holiday to recover from the effort. A recurring theme was refusing to let illness steal the joy of tradition, with many expressing determination to create holiday memories for loved ones while acknowledging the physical toll and need for self-care.

I hope you have a fabulous and pain free day.
I know it’s warm there so this might not sound good, but I have a great turkey chowder recipe If you are interested. I love leftovers too.
Much love my friend ❤️

@A MyFibroTeam Member. enjoy your relaxing day. We went out one year but i prefer leftovers. You could come here if you were in florida. We always invite people that have no family around. Have a happy thanksgiving everyone.

We have a small dinner and split up the work between everyone since all suffer with health issues. We use paper plates and disposable pans when we can...Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you have a stress and pain free holiday. :)
