Does Being Cold Or In Cold Air Bother You?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

If I get cold it feels like ice in my veins and bones. Sometimes I feel like icy hot is either on my skin or running thru my veins like lava. Earlier I felt fine, then all of a sudden it felt like my arm and elbow both were covered with an ice pack so cold that it seeped clear to the bone. It’s a very weird burning sensation and radiates to my fingers.

Cold water makes my muscles tense up and puts me in more pain. Cold air makes me have problems with my thermostat. I cannot tolerate cold weather because it stiffens me up completely and makes me worse. I have to use heat to relieve my symptoms. And my house is kept between 75 and 77° at all times due to my condition which is also yours. Hope I helped. Thank you. Amanda.

I too have had trouble with the cold. I try to keep as warm as possible. I used to have a chiropractor that wanted to put ice on my back. Would not let him, I could not tolerate it. I do have arthritis bin my knees and I can tolerate ice there. Never on my back.

I think cold weather is increasing my pain and inflammation. I'm considering moving to a warmer climate. I get burning in my legs quite often-very uncomfortable.
