Leg Pain
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I have been experiencing leg pain (in both legs) for over a year now. It radiates from my hips all the way to the tips of my toes. No medication helps or even takes the edge off. Ive tried lotions, rubs, oils, epsom salt baths, heat, ice...any input would be appreciated. Thank u!

Have you been checked for herniated discs in your low back? I have sciatica from herniated discs in low back. The pain can radiate down your legs. That sounds like what is happening to you. Ask your doctor to do a mri if you have not had one resently. Do you have charley horse pain in your thighs and calves. That is how mine started. Good luck and keep us updated on your progress. Hugs.

I used to have extreme pain like that. The dr discovered i had degenerative discs and spinal stenosis. I had a bulging disc and ended up have back surgery. Before the surgery i would do stretches and exercises. Stand straight holding onto the back of a chair. Lift one leg back and hold then switch legs. Lay on the floor. Pull your legs up and swing slowly from side to side and hold a few seconds. I would get your back checked by an orthopedic dr. Good luck! I hope that helps. I will pray the pain eases up. God bless!πŸ˜‡

@A MyFibroTeam Member. Hello again. I just read this again and i forgot to tell you that i take magnesium and potassium daily. Fibro causes us to have low levels and that can cause cramping too. I also got hylands leg cramp natural supplement at walmart. I take1 pill every night and until this morning, i have not had any charley horses. I woke up to the start of one but took another leg cramp pill and it went away. Thank god. Try what i told you with the supplements and let me know if it helps. I will pray it does help you. Hugs
