Members enthusiastically shared their epsom salt bath routines in response to a question about how much to use and whether to add lavender oil, with the most common recommendation being one to two cups of salts per bath and about five to ten drops of lavender essential oil for relaxation and muscle pain relief. Several members offered practical tips, including using Dr. Teal's brand with lavender already included, adding baking soda for detoxification, soaking for at least 15 to 30 minutes in warm water, rinsing off afterward to prevent itchiness, and for those unable to use tubs, soaking feet or hands in epsom salt baths or using magnesium gels and sprays as alternatives. A recurring theme was the transformative relief these baths provide for fibromyalgia pain and muscle stiffness, with many members describing how the magnesium in epsom salts addresses common deficiencies and helps lower pain levels significantly, often combined with the calming benefits of lavender and other essential oils like peppermint or eucalyptus.

I use the following mixture as a rub or for my soak. In the tub, I add some magnesium oil as well with a few drops of the mixture. It certainly helps me.

Two cups of Epson’s salts per bath. I also buy the one that has lavender in it. It really does help! Happy bathing!

I(being older than dirt), use a shower chair; so I use an herbal wrap that you put in the microwave to heat up! It has lavender, chamomile, rosemary, peppermint, lemon grass, cinnamon, and various other natural ingredients in it! I use it like a heating pad and it works wonders for my physical and emotional being!

I use the bath bombs from Naples Soap company. They are made for Fybro and arthritis people. They have all types of different senses. From Lavender to woodsy smell for men. Their bath soaps are awesome made for the same reason. They are out of Naples Fl and only have store in Florida so I order mine online!! They have this muscle Blum that is out of this world. I have talked about it before on here well since then they have been out of stock. I will be happy when it back because I really need it about Now! You can get 5 bombs for 19.99 mix and match. Look them up their great! When I ran out of the soap and had to use regular old soap I could tell a HUGE difference!!! Not only how i felt but just the condition of my skin didn’t feel as clean and smooth!
