Members shared mixed experiences with weighted blankets for fibromyalgia pain, with many expressing excitement to try one despite concerns about the cost, while others described feeling comforted by the sensation of being hugged and held still, which helped reduce fidgeting and anxiety. Several members found relief when combining their weighted blanket with heat or ice therapy, and one member shared that after six months of use they can no longer sleep without it, while another cautioned that the pressure worsened their pain due to osteopenia and recommended borrowing one first to see if it works. A recurring theme was the deeply personal nature of pain management, with responses ranging from life-changing comfort to unbearable discomfort, highlighting the importance of researching different weights and testing before investing.

Yes, it is so worth the cost! I use it mostly when I am resting downstairs in my chair. Doesn't help much with long term pain, but with moist heat or ice, depending on the day, on my neck and lower back I get some relief. :)

I have had one for about 6 months now and I cant sleep without it now. I love the fact that it makes me feel like i can be still I also use a weighted heating pad as well I just lay the heating pad across my ribs and side and then put my weighted blanket on me as well as my comforter it calms my anxiety and helps me sleep so much better now

I have tryed one and it makes you feel like its ok to be still. I figit a lot. It also made me feel like i was being hugged all over. I want to get my own but they are kind of expensive. So i will have to save for it. For me its like i am safe. If that makes any sense

I'm so keen to try one! Have read such good things about them! It's just the cost holding me back from buying one at the moment...
