Hi everyone i have heard that taking apple cider vinegar ( raw, organic) has several health benefits. Do any of you take Apple cider vinegar and if so how the heck do you do it. Any helpful recipes would be great i have googled a few that i am willing to try but hoping someone hear has some that help make it palpable. Gentle Hugs
My neighbor is a nutritionalist and personal trainer. He said to use 2 tablespoons in a large glass of water and squeeze half of a lemon into it. If you need to you can add some Stevia or honey. He swears by it and says it will keep your blood sugar balanced amongst many other things. He tells all of his clients to do it. I’m doing it also. It doesn’t taste bad at all.
They have apple cider tablets that you can take. I take them with tumeric capsules which also help the inflamation. They have also recently are saying they thyme is another herb that helps with fibro. I drink it in tea form. When Im just having normal pain days they all seem to help but do not expect miracles for flares.
I agree that the organic apple cider is better. I just can not get it down but the pill form is good for normal pain days. I do no know how others are with fibro but I always feel like I have the flu (the muscle aches) and Im always exhausted. Flares however take me out for days and sometimes weeks. My longest one was 6 weeks.
I tried apple cider vinegar because I heard such wonderful things about how it helps with fibro and every time I used it I started to flare. Ugh. I was very disappointed. Good luck
