I bruise easy as it is but I'm finding bruises and can't remember what happened! My husband asked me the other day what happened to my arm. There is a bruise the size of a nickel and I don't remember doing anything.

Members strongly related to the experience of finding mysterious bruises and not remembering how they happened, with many attributing it to fibro fog, iron deficiency, or simply bumping into things throughout the day without registering the impact. Several members shared practical strategies including taking iron supplements, making a conscious mental note by saying out loud when you bump something so you can later remember where bruises came from, and recognizing that instability from fibromyalgia causes frequent minor collisions with furniture, pets, or people. A recurring theme was relief and validation in discovering this is a common fibromyalgia experience, with members finding comfort in knowing they are not alone in dealing with unexplained bruising and memory gaps around minor injuries.

Yes! I am constantly finding new bruises on my arms and legs and I am not sure how I’m getting them. They also seem to take a long time to go away

All the time. I think it's from instability and you trip into things without even remembering. Because we do it pretty often. And find them on my arms and legs. I think my grandson even hit me and I got a bruise from just a little rough play with him. It's probably an iron deficiency or something.
