I realized that i posted this in the wrong place Foggy moment.
i have to explain Fibromyalgia to two people who don't understand it. i tried, but, i don'' think that i did a good job. Do any of you a post that you' ve saved to favorites, that does a good job? Something that you've saved to your computer? A favorite website? I just realized, I'm probably being stupid, there's probably something on this website. I'll look; then I'll check google. Thanks
You might NOT want to show them this since it's kinda funny....but what she's saying is spot on...it's just the "roboticness" of the video that is funny. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBcfhpwCOWU
I also came to recommend this video:

The animation is a bit ridiculous but the information is good, it describes my Fibro and what I experience and I have used it to help explain it to others.
Hi Anise. Iām Nita. I tell people to go to Mayo Clinic.Com or to WebMD for information. They are both very good at explaining what Fibromyalgia is, how it exacerbates other illnesses such as thyroid disease, chronic fatigue, and other illnesses, and how difficult it is to diagnose. It is an AutoImmune Disease and often gets misdiagnosed as a flu bug. There are 18 tender points in the body and in order to have a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia you must have 11 of those tender points.
I just tell people that it's an autoimmune disorder. That it does cause muscle tenderness, pain, and fatigue. And that you can sometimes have like a remission and other times you completely can't control what goes on with your body.
@A MyFibroTeam Member It is very strange as you say, but the info is good and I like the way it talks about how fibro affects the whole body.
