My RA doctor was the last one who diagnosed me. First my PCP diagnosised me with Fibromyalgia and I refused to believe his dx for 15 years probably. I sought the advise of neurologist, pain management, ortho and every other dr imaginable before accepting a have Fibromyalgia.

A rheumatologist finally agreed to treat me 7 years after my diagnosis!

Gp suspected fibromyalgia & rheumatologist confirmed it last month

Gp diagnosed me with fibro but sent me to a rheumatologist to confirm. Then also got an assessment at a pain clinic where they also agreed with the fibro diagnosis.
