Flexeril
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I understand that Flexeril improves sleep but upon waking up the following morning, how does it help Fibromyalgia pain during the day after taking it the night before?

It does help me. I've found that if my muscles relax while I'm sleeping, I don't wake up as sore. It's like it gives them a break. I know I tighten my muscles because of the pain. I don't mean to, but it just happens.

I take it during the day as well. It never helped me much with sleep though. The Lyrica and Cymbalta help me with sleep a lot!

It has been a part of my life for over 10 years. I have never had any negative effects when I take one before bed and I don't have any dizziness, so I would recommend at least trying it.
