I was wondering if anyone has tried HTP 5 or Kava root i have heard that they help with Sleep, Anxiety and Depression?
Do any of you use herbs or natural remedies that you have noticed truly make a difference. Thank in advance for your responses I am so desperate to find something that helps.
@A MyFibroTeam Member I have cut back on my Cymbalta and take 1 Cymbalta at night and 1 5 HTP in the morning as for the Kava it absolutely without a doubt relaxes me and helps me sleep. I have been dreaming and not as tired when I get up most days anyways.I was also told to take probiotics. I hope you find something that works I have heard St John's wort is supposed to be good also. I have recently been taking HTP 5 at night and I have had dreams every night sense. I guess I must be getting better REM sleep.

I also take magnesium, Alive multiple vitamins for women, and also turmeric. I can really notice when I miss a few days, so I guess it is helpful. I will forever try things that I’ve read others have found to help, always looking for any relief. I can honestly say, without a doubt, that CBD oil is the best thing I’ve ever found to lessen my pain. It’s expensive, so I usually only use it on bad days, or if I have to leave my house and run around. I’ve even had (only) a couple “pain free days “ when I used it. Something I haven’t had for at least 6-7 years. I’ll never be without it.
Hi, it's Viv. I'm not taking herbs. But I do take magnesium. It helps reduce muscle spasms & magnesium is a sleep booster. Ever since I started taking magnesium, I sleep thru the night. Take care, @A MyFibroTeam Member
@A MyFibroTeam Member, I bought several books on all kinds of herbs. I really want to give it a good shot. I'm tired of whatever is all in my meds and there's so little side effects going natural. If you start it and it works please let us know. I'm so tired of this. All I did today was clean out the hen house and I've pretty much been down just from doing that, it's a small coop
