Well all the one's who have a job you have a chance getting disability in my case I can't receive disability cause they stated if you don't have work history you can't get any help.And also I was told by a lawyer that if your husband make to much the courts say his's able to take care of you.it's a shame how they let good workers go it should be a law against it if they don't walk in our shoes they just can't understand that some days we just can't get out of bed hold out alittle while longer be blessed.

Do you have union ? I’d you do set up a meeting to put your mind at rest , as I stressed about it loads and the meeting was really help full with he also being there and telling me the side that I don’t know .. obviously If you can’t work then they can Finish you like it’s lookong like for me but I’d your at work and then off because of a flare up they have to adapt .. and you have medical evidence to prove it that it is what you have then I can’t seeing them having leg to stand on ! It a joke it’s a real thing that ruins people’s life’s because people can’t see the pain , like work boss’s they don’t get it as it’s not visable and how rapid it takes you down when you flare up .. stay positive and ask for ther policy and disabilities x

They can’t sack you if you have fibro , it’s a disability I’d you can still work with it then they have to make adaptions to your role and time off , do you have union rep ? Mine is that bad I can’t work and will find out soon if they will finish me on ill health , but I know this because they said if I was able
To work they cant discriminate and make adaptions for people with fibro and chronic pain x

I had to give up work due to my fibro about 18 months ago. I had to have occupation health appointments and they asked my employer to arrange work station to be made easier to work at ( new chair measured to my measurements, etc).this wasn't done in six months and because I continued to loose time from work, they tried to get rid of me. I fought against that at a works hearing and decided to keep me on because they hadn't carried what was asked. After months of waiting they eventually ordered chair, trolly looked at working hours, but unfortunately I had gradually got worse at this point that I was off sick more than being at work. I had meetings with HR and agreed that I would give up. They wrote a letter stating that I had to give up due to capacity. That letter was useful and used it to claim ESA. Now I don't know how I managed to go to work. I spend most days in bed unable to do much. Big hugs x
