Hi all, I have just recently been paid off from sick leave and applied for contributions based esa. However they informed me today I have a shortfall of £150 for 14/15, does anyone know if I pay this can my claim for contributions based esa go ahead

Hi all thanks for your input, I can pay my shortfall ok but then have a 6 week ban from esa lol. My doc while treats me and mediates me for fibromyalgia will not actually in his words tag me with it because he does not believe in it.

I applied for PIP as as I had been on DLA previous to this for 14 years but the accessment was horrendous, they didn't believe anything I said and they took away the lot, blue badge as well, because I don't go to gp every week. It totally depends on the person you get or your luck, (which I don't get) but then I know someone that gets PIP for being deaf in one ear and no other conditions. Good luck

Hi I was on ESA work-related ESA for 12 months and now I've had nothing for the last four months because apparently you only get it for a year and because my partner's self-employed apparently he should support me I don't see where they get back from and I'm not entitled to any other benefits I'm going to apply for PIP I think because he does help me he helps me in the bath he helps me get dressed some days and I think maybe there slowly starting to recognise fibromyalgia in the UK but I've heard the pip claims are hit and miss and it depends on who you get interviewing you which I think is wrong everybody should if you're entitled to it you should get it simple it's like they don't believe us because we can look well but we're not inside we're like a 90 year old woman it's very frustrating and I'm really worried about applying because I don't really think I'm going to get anything they actually told me on the phone if I was single then I would get everything no questions asked because I'm in a relationship and he works well then I'm entitled to nothing where's the logic in that
