I have been recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, I have extreme pain on my right side of the body (legs, hips, shoulder, wrist, neck, lower back.. everything). The tablets does not seem to be helping, its hard to fall a sleep and sleep for more than 2-3 hours. Does any one else have pain only on one side? and what can be done to help...

Funny you should say this. I've told the Dr's that i feel everything on my right side more than my left side. My left side i feel a lot less pain till i went to this physical therapist to help me w my pelvis and she told me that my left side is worse than my left is.
The same dr. that told me 13 years ago that I could not have fibromyalgia bc it was only on the right side of my body, said 11 years ago that I DO have fibromyalgia. I think the protocals changed. Mine goes from the top of my skull all down right side to middle of thigh, never below that point. Started in the lower right abdominal area 15 years ago, and slowly moved north and south. I feel I have almost ALL the symptoms. Insomnia and anxiety are my current MAJOR foes.
Yes, mine is on the right side and i commonly wake through the night from pain and disscomfort ( maybe cause i sleep mostly on that side )...however...i thought that Fybro was suppose to affect both sides of the body so i am confused with it!
Yes! Mine is my left side. :(
