Have anyone been tested and got a result of a positive ANA? Did this mean you were diagnosed with Lupus?
I've been anticipating this storm to rip through and it seems it is finally here! I just knew I would have a positive one, Lupus is hereditary on both sides of my family.
What should I expect? I just want to hear some stories about your journey from being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia to getting Lupus!!

Here's some good news. Having a positive ANA does not mean you have lupus. All it means is that you will be getting a few more tests. Possibly just having some time go by and they will test you again. Try to hang in there. Hopefully everything will be ok. Hugs and prayers.

I has a test come back years ago with Ana antibodies and my doctor called and told me I had Lupus she sent me to a Rheumatologist he said let's wait six months and test again because I had been very sick. We waited six moths retested and it came back Sjogrens so that is what shows up every time now and it's been twelve years. I still feel like that's what it's going to be someday. Good luck
Before I was diagnosed with fibro Dr ordered more tests because my ANA was positive. Now it does happen that you could have positive ANA and that's all. But definitely have Dr order blood tests to rule out Lupus since it runs in your family! One of my cousins has Lupus. What has been prevalent in our family is Hypothyroidism. I have it and 3 other girl cousins have it. Be wellππ»π

The doctors are basically preparing you for lupus! That's how they did me, I feel like they knew; idk why they won't tell you anything. But their doctors so it's definitely in their nature. Good luck to you my fibro warrior, better days to come
It is tricky with being diagnosed with Lupus. It takes a long time to diagnose. I pray that you do not have it on top of fibromyalgia.
