I have only just been diagnosed & am still coming to terms with it. I don't really get pains, just annoying aches, my main issue is the absolute exhaustion, does this really sound like fibro?
That is exactly how I was until recently. Utterly exhausted almost all the time. If you don't learn to not do too much on the odd good days then I found good days become few and far between. Unfortunately I now have more pains to contend with but don't know if this is just my experience or a general experience. I found it difficult to pace myself in fact I never have !! I thought I just needed to get out more and it would go away. IDIOT ME lol
I have acute chronic fatigue C F S. I was sleeping almost all day. Sometimes until 5- 6 pm. Was sleeping until lunch time for a short while on change of tablets. Now increased to 2pm again. I have been sold must just live with it. With stenosis of the spine which keeps my bed ridden, and F/m and R A I am always in some level of pain. flare of R A causes a flare in F/m and CF S at 74 I must grin and bear it. Luckily am in nursing home. No money though. Next to nothing left after fees and medication. Hugs and love

hi this is how I was prior to diagnosis finally got blood test which showed extreme vitD deficiency & low iron. Drs says my IBS causes me to not absorb enough through food so will need to take daily for life.Good luck I hope u find a solution soon. X
The complete exhaustion is my biggest problem. I can take pain medication or patches for the pain but nothing seems to help with the exhaustion. I just wait for a good day then make the most of it.
I used to go dancing one night a week but have had to give it up, as soon as the music started I was up and by the end of the night I could barely stand and only just managed to get home. I gave it up. Now I do other things as much as I can and when tired watch wildlife programmes on TV or listen to relaxing music, especially if I have woken up and/or can't sleep. My neighbours call me a night owl but are understanding and supportive.
