Does anyone have active Tourette's and fibro? How do you deal with it?

No laughs. I don't scream out vulgar things. It's the jerking and involuntary movements, and the breathing thing and grunting. It wears me out, and with fibro, it's just too much. I'm old enough to have figured out how to make my movements more normal like around others, but boy when it comes out it would probably look funny but it's embarrassing and rough on my body, especially my neck.
I was truly hoping I wasn't alone here but looks like I am.

"I feel like we as the victims of this condition are invisible to the professionals and may need to do some/much of their work for them>" That was great, Judee - -only bad feature is they get $125.00 for 15 to 20 min. visit? Can we get even half of that? LOL
I AGREE WITH YOU-----I READ EVERYONE OF THE POSTS. I also take notes. Now I know for sure that Fibro does make my eyes "fuzzy." Yet - - my doctor laughs when I say that. How rude. I even gave him a list of the other things that Fibro can cause.

I just can't help but wonder if anyone in any field of medicine has ever tried to track the myriad symptoms, illnesses, questionable other medical issues besides the chronic pain and documented things which accompany fibromyalgia. Tourette's, asthma, vision problems, etc. which we get questions about in our community here. . .I think I'm going to start keeping track as well as I can to see what is a cause/effect/manifestation of fibro. Let the research begin. If you know of something strange, different or just plain weird, let me know and I'll add it to the list. I trust that you, my friends, will be rational and not send me on any wild-goose chases. Anyone else who wants to help, please, please, please pitch in. Since this started I've had involuntary movements in my neck and wonder if it Tourette. U also burst out in song . Always familar tubes but with strange made up lyrics that appear com nowhere . I can feel the neck move coming. But not my hands, arms or legs they just happen out of the blue
