I was wondering how bad your headaches get and did you ever hit your head before fibro??
I usually call my headaches 'head trauma'. There's no way to describe feeling like your head is going to explode. And yes, Ive been in car accidents, fell off the monkey bars, many,...many years ago. 🤕
Thank you & God Bless.
I tend to get headaches when my meds are increased or changed or added on. Pork will sometimes give me a headache. But mostly my headache is caused by my neck. I have degenerate disk disease, slip disk, arthritis and Tourette's, which when that's bad in no time my neck will hurt, I'll do my best to stop it there by Aspercreme or heat but if I don't catch it, I'll get a headache.
When TRP’s (Trigger Points) are involved with head pain, it often “feels” more structural and some people may have a difficult time associating their environment as an instigator of pain. Yet due to the fibro body’s sensitivity to toxins and stimulants, this can easily start a cascade of symptoms and resulting pain. (Severe fibromyalgia headaches interfere with quality of life even more so because of the effect on the brain, eyes, nerves, and ability to think clearly)
There are seasons of the year that tend to bring on more headaches due to allergies, ragweed, and temperature changes. Spring and Fall are two seasons where symptoms can tend to escalate. Allergies can activate symptoms of fibromyalgia, just like toxins in any form exacerbate fibro symptoms.
Hi LindaAnn, yes I have had head trauma as well as car accident years ago. That could be a big reason. Thanks for the input. Gentle hugs. Cindy
I got headaches everyday for almost 12 years. I started decreasing amounts of meds. I'm not sure which one I got rid of but headaches don't bother me so much. Once in awhile I get a migraine. Hope this helps you.
I get a headache everyday And a migraine once a month . My eyes are affected by bright lights and sun . So that's why I get them . On top of fibro I have fnd.
