What does everyone do for work? At home? Something simple? Part time? I am currently a call center agent and the stress of everything makes my pain worse! Would love some input! Thanks in advance!
When I could no longer deal with an outside job (hospital) I had to find something I was good at. I liked research and writing and gardening so I kept trying for an article in a magazine that paid well. I wrote for Herb Quarterly magazine from 2008 to 2014 and then went for a bit to Heirloom Gardener. I have a shop on Etsy with stuff I sell from either the trash or Goodwill and do OK. You have to find something that works for you and will not become over taxing. Good luck.
I work for the NHS as an occupational therapist. I work 2 days a week and this is enough for me. I manage my own diary so have a lot of control over activities I do. I do have 4 children so this is enough for me.
Same its awful c
@A MyFibroTeam Member that is exactly where I am at!
I am also a call center agent and have found the same problem. It seems to be getting worse. I dread the phone ringing and dealing with all the complaints and negativity. I don't reccomend this type of work when dealing with fibro. At least it's not for me. I have enough trying to deal with my issues let alone someone else's.
