Yes! It is so hard to focus on everyday things when you are fighting a monster inside you. Sometimes I just look at happy, carefree people and feel so jealous and resentful. It's not their fault, but I can't help it. Sometimes I just wish I could worry about the things "normal" people worry about. On the other hand, I could be diagnosed with something lethal- and those people (bless them) probably look at people like me and feel jealous and resentful. It's all about perspective. I try to be grateful because everyone has their own battles and there will always be someone out there with a struggle worse than mine. It's hard though.
I feel less than that some days. This is a horrible thing to have. It's taken so much away from me and limited my life in ways I never imagined. You're not alone in feeling like this. Hugs to anyone in need. π
Yes, absolutely. I've had to change entire career fields, as well as be more cautious doing my physical activities. I've gone from an outgoing extrovert to reclusive socially anxious extrovert which completely contradicts itself. I want to be social but then when I am, I want to go home and be alone. When I'm alone, I crave interaction. It's a double edged sword.
I'm a 37 year old male I can no longer do half the things I used too. I'm a keen gardener and it destroys me to know I can't do it anymore .
I'm so thankful for this site! I was just telling my friend the other day, that I felt like I was a quarter of the person that I used to be! Most days I feel like I am 0% of the person I used to be! I used to love running, doing photography, decorating cakes, working in the bakery, cleaning my house, mowing my lawn, shopping,.... my list could go on and on! Now I can't complete one task, I can't remember anything, the pain is relentless and never stops! It was comforting to my mind to read everybody's comments on here! Not, that I want you all suffering every day! But it was nice seeing that I'm not the only one that's going through this! I'm thankful for God's mercy and strength! I pray that God grants us all patience to live each day pleasing to Him!!
