Hey, I am a newbie to the group
Since my diagnosis of Fibromyalgia, I have been having a lot of trouble with my stability, balance and walking a far distance (Sometimes I feel they go hand in hand). Honey number one you come first! Take care of yourself and do whatever you have to do to do this! Buy a cane or walking stick1 Get disability Parking Permit if you need it! These are all good ways to take care of yourself! And never be ashamed that you may need these. Your still a beautiful young woman! Hugs!
I didn't have a difficult time getting mine. I suppose it is all about how cooperative your doctor is. :-)
@A MyFibroTeam Member The DMV has a handicap placard application form that you take to your doctor and get them to sign. Once it has been signed you to take the paper to your DMV office to pick up a placard or plates.

I'm 26 and I TOTALLY understand why it's scary, I feel the same way about it. I don't have either. How do you get a parking permit anyway? The doctor just gives one to you? I don't know anything about it lol
