Members discussing antidepressants for pain and mood shared a wide range of experiences with different medications, including amitriptyline, Valium, tramadol, Xanax, Wellbutrin, and Valdoxan, with several noting side effects like nausea or feeling too spaced out to function at work. Many members found relief through medical marijuana for fibromyalgia symptoms including depression, pain, migraines, and restless legs, though experiences varied widely, with some finding only smoking effective while oils and edibles provided no benefit. A recurring theme was the importance of working closely with knowledgeable doctors to find the right treatment, not waiting too long to address depression, and frustration over limited access to medical marijuana in many states despite its proven benefits for chronic pain conditions.

I'm taking Xanax (Anxiety) and Wellbutrin (Depression/Bipolar). For me the Xanax works great, but I live in Southern Cali & medical marijuana is legal here. And I have to say it has been a life saver!! It helps immensely with depression, appetite, migraines and with Fibro those horrible pins & needles & burning skin and the restless legs that would make me crazy without it. It's amazing what they know at these M.M.Clinics. They sit with you & go over all your symptoms and what relief your seeking. I hope the Federal Government gets on the bandwagon & realizes that it's way safer than opioids. Depression sneeks up on you & before you know it it's overwhelming (esp w/Fibro & other health problems). So be careful, don't wait too long. Good Luck ☺

Talk to a doctor familiar with this class of drugs. They are powerful and can have side-effects depending on your particular chemistry. There are good ones that will help with both pain, depression, as well as relaxation. Good luck.

Questions: What exactly is CBD?? How does vape work?? I think I was shown it once?? I just use regular flowers/buds. I get like 4g. (1/8) for $50 & they deliver (lifesaver as I don't drive due to epilepsy). This is Southern Cali so I'm sure few others have this convenience outside of our state, which is so unfortunate.

It blows my mind how closed minded the government is with regard to MMJ. Study after study shows the medicinal benefits of MMJ on people like us & also for seizure control, migraines, cancer patients, appetite etc.

Cigarettes & booze no problem (really??) but heaven forbid we legalize a weed!! SMH
