My magnesium arrived yesterday. It is a skin lotion and since I have very sensitive skin - it is recommended that I do half part water in the mixture. I guess you are supposed to put it on the affected areas which would be everywhere since fibro is everywhere. I will start out slow. The lotion by many nutritionist is recommended over oral use since it does get in our system quickly and then there is no problem with digestive problems in the gut. I am praying it will help.
350 mg powdered magnesium once (in p.m.) or twice (in a.m. & p.m.) a day. I buy the brand Naural Calm at Whole Foods. This was recommended by my integrative MD.
I take Magnesium Malate 1250 mg each day or 3 tabs one each meal. Works good for me. My daughter worked a health food store and did research on what to take. I take a combination of a few products. This one of them
I don't have a bath tub, or I would take Epsom salt baths. So I take it orally in the pm. It doesn't usually bother me.
