Members connected over the widespread prevalence of Epstein-Barr Virus, with many sharing that their doctors explained over 95% of adults test positive and that the virus can reactivate during periods of stress, illness, or fatigue. Several members described exploring potential links between EBV and fibromyalgia, referencing theories like those from the Medical Medium, and trying remedies such as detox cleanses with cucumber and celery, red marine algae, and liquid licorice as antivirals. A recurring theme was the frustration of living with reactivated EBV and chronic conditions like fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, coupled with hope that someone will eventually find answers or relief.

Yes. Most people do. It gets activated in your body like any herpes virus does. Triggers are sickness, stress, fatigue. It's mono.

There are theories out there that EBV my be the cause or at least has something to do with fibromyalgia. The Medical Medium is one that is convinced of this. I tell you, he makes a lot of sense after I read about it. It was very interesting.

I recently asked my doctor to test me for it. He said it will most likely show I do, he said just about everyone's test will come back positive????

@A MyFibroTeam Member I read the book also. I wonder if any Dr's agree with this. It would be great to find a fix for it!
