For those who have been on it

Did you experience dialated pupils? For how long?
Food aversion? Anyone? Nothing seems appetizing.
Trouble sleeping? I toss and turn all night. Exhausted during the day... like all day. Is this typical?
Hoping these subside soon.
Thanks Micki

Members shared a wide range of experiences with Cymbalta for fibromyalgia, with several describing challenging side effects including extreme exhaustion, feeling like a zombie, mood changes, appetite loss, dilated pupils, and difficulty sleeping that can worsen fibro fog. Many members emphasized the importance of working closely with a doctor to manage these side effects, not stopping the medication abruptly, and recognizing that everyone responds differently to medications through trial and error. A recurring theme was the struggle with sleep and involuntary muscle jerks, with members finding some relief through medications like gabapentin, tramadol, and zopiclone, though many continue searching for solutions that work for their individual needs.

The side effects and withdrawals from that toxic drug is not worth it. I would get off before it's too late ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

I tried Cymbalta but my side effects were too much to take... exhaustion, feeling like a zombie, just not feeling normal & I was moody. I had my doctor wean me off onto something else. Do not stop cold turkey, not a pleasant thing to do! Best of luck, I hope it works for you. Zoloft seems to be the only thing that works for me without side effects, in my experience. Everyone reacts differently to meds, so it's trial & error. Hugs! Susan ๐Ÿ˜Š

I have many of these things. Not usually all at once but it has happened. Sometimes I don't want to eat for a few days, usually because my stomach hurts and the thought of food makes me nauseous. I also have an ulcer so it could be that too. But the exhaustion and not sleeping well are very common. I have been in fits where I was so exhausted and not sleeping that the fibro fog got so bad I almost had no idea what was going on. Definitely talk to your doc about this. Sleep is key. This is when your body rejuvenates (even a little).
