For me I take 3 doses as well. I have double the dose in afternoon and night. That works for me

I've been on Gabapenten for over 12 years now. Before that, it was strictly amitryptalene. After 25 years with Fibro, I got off the amitryptalene thanks to the Gabapenten. I've had no issues at all

After several years of gabapentin, I stopped it cold turkey. I had a feeling it was causing me more harm, causing more weight issues and making me feel worse. I'm concvinced I was right! I've been taking Aleve daily. Pain is not gone, but tolerable and I truly feel and sleep better.

I usually double up on the next 2 doses. 1 just doesn't do it for me. It could be that your body is metabolizing them too fast, but I would definitely let your Dr. know, maybe he/she will change your dosage.
