Fluticortisone (spelling?) is used to increase blood volume for PoTS patients so the blood doesn't pool in the legs leaving little blood for the brain, etc.

Fludrocortisone is used to prevent postural drop in BP

Basically it's a postural drop in blood pressure that sends you dizzy and you can collapse

Thank you OMgirl. It is hard when you have POTS, fibro and MECFS. And I'm not on any medicine right now. My doc suggested this medicine, and I wondered what people's experiences with it are. Somehow I gotta force myself to add more salt into my foods. 1/4 tsp in your oatmeal is just awful!😬
