I am on disability due to other health issues than fibromyalgia but recently I was confirmed permanently disabled because I have difficulty functioning due to fibro. @A MyFibroTeam Member I do not know but if you are at pension you may be at or close to Supplemental Security Income (SSI) eligibility age. Best thing is to contact Social Security or you can check online at https://www.ssa.gov/ssi/text-eligibility-ussi.htm
Also if you're on disability you are on Medicare. Or Medicaid. Any appliance such a purchase such as walkers, wheelchairs, adjustable beds are all tax free if you get an Rx from your Dr. it's saved saved me a lot a money on my adjustable bed. 🍫❤️B
I was blessed I was 56 filed without lawyers have a lot of issues lots of dr papers got disability in 3 months no court or anything decisions in mail approved maybe cause I got ssi in mich and midacaid already have my own blue cross ins in mich state pays ssi
I'm STILL awaiting an answer for my 3rd appeal (with a disability lawyer) and its been about 2 1/2 frickin years. The pain and the stress of waiting for money that I worked for...for over 20 years, is why I tried to end my life. I don't understand how it can take this long. It's so fustrating. And the stress just triggers more flares.
