Hi everyone, What do people think about the NHS trialling a cannabis pen? Do any of you think this could help with fibro pain? Would anyone be willing to try this?

Members enthusiastically supported the idea of NHS cannabis pen trials for fibromyalgia pain, with many eager to participate after years of struggling to find effective relief. Several members shared their personal experiences, noting that while CBD alone offers limited pain relief, THC provides significant pain management, with some finding edibles helpful despite initial concerns about functionality or past anxiety reactions. A recurring theme was frustration with healthcare systems that remain resistant to cannabis as a treatment option, including clinics refusing to provide necessary documentation, even as individual doctors privately support it.

CBD is great for treating many things, but THC is needed for most. Pain in particular! CBD does nothing for my pain levels but THC works a treat :)

Both my GP (who did the referral) and pain specialist are 100% in support of medical marijuana (I go to a clinic Monday). I am one who could not smoke marijuana after the age of 18 (got panic attacks) but a friend has prvided me with some edibles which I find are terrific for the pain...however, I'm not too functional. I'll take it though...no pain vs no function is a fair trade until I get some proper dosing, etc.
