My legs are killing me. Speaking to my GP on Friday about it.
Any ideas to relieve the symptoms?
Thinking a bath tonight.
It stops me sleeping too
Thanks

I tried different things but nothing helped. Now I am on gaberpentin they work. Only from doctors though.
I take a muscle relaxer at night to help relax my legs particularly, otherwise I cannot sleep. I have noticed that my legs bother me so much more when my lower back is bothering me or if I ride the lawnmower. I think the constant vibration bothers my lower back. If you are having muscle cramps, magnesium supplementation can help considerably.
The only additional advise I can add is to increase your iron levels whatever the blood tests say( unless your have heart or blood pressure issues) Also when they are bad I lay with my legs up the wall as far as they can reach- will try to send a picture ๐
Completely depends on the cause. If it's nerve pain it can be coming from your lower back, hips etc.. work on the trigger points in your hips and the side of the top of each leg.. a tennis ball under and roll on it, in bed, it kills but really helps. Aspartame affects muscles as does lots of food chemicals.. suggest looking at your diet. More water and lots of magnesium.
Hope you get some help. I was given meds for. Parkinsons and it helped. Also a muscle relaxant can help. Try a bath with radox. Let us know how you get on at GP x hope you get some sleep tonight xx
