Members strongly related to the original question about buttock pain in fibromyalgia, with many describing similar sensations in their hips, lower back, legs, and groin that worsen with standing or sitting on hard surfaces. Several members shared that the pain comes and goes unpredictably, with some attributing it to sciatica or SI joint issues, and noted that stretching exercises, lidocaine gel, and epidural injections provided varying degrees of relief. A recurring theme was the frustration of never knowing which position brings comfort and the challenge of managing pain that radiates throughout the lower body.

@A MyFibroTeam Member I'm seeing a spine specialist for my SI or S! joint, by the pelvis connecting to the spine. Your pain could be there? They usually just medicate and send you on your way! Well, that was my Thursday. The lidocaine was great! Just get me a tub full and a paint roller! I do that with this gel something, name all day because the shot/epidural isn't doing anything....med assistant said is can take up to a week to start (!?) It that the way they just get rid of us for a little while? God bless you and gentle hugs!
