I have OA along with fibro. I'm having new pains that I'm getting concerned about. There are times where my knees hurt so bad but it may be gone in a month or so and be gone for months. When I have a real high pain level my hands and feet hurt, but right now they've been hurting for a week and a half. I'm not sure of course if this is going to stick around or what. Have ya'll had something like this happen to you?

I've had a miserable 6months with knee pain. Turns out it was caused by the pain meds I was on! I'd even collapse with my knees going out. I was on Mirtizpine, Trazadone, Ultram, Vicodin. And Percocet. They all belong to the same family. I'm a slow learner and it took toooooo long to figure it out. I had two pain blocks in my back and then my family Dr. gave me a steroid shot into both knees. No pain! Hips or back. I was using a cane then a walker. As I write this I'm sitting in a yoga position on my bed! A miracle!🍫❤️B
@A MyFibroTeam Member I have a friend who has RA and her hands and feet hurt her a lot. The best thing to do would go to your doctor and find out for sure what it is coming from. I know with Fibro I will have pain in ribs and other places. It will go away for a while and come back again. I have feelings in my legs that are like a bug or spider crawling up my leg, but there isn't. Hope you find out what you need too and feel much better. Hugs

Ramble on, Catherine. Welcome to my world of the ramble mind.
I hurt like that all the time. Can't remember when I didn't.
Sometimes I wonder if I shouldn't be charging Kellogg's for Snap, Crackle and Pop living in my knees cause that's usually what it sounds like every time I bend my knees! lol
Of course I had fibro for many years before finally getting diagnosed with anything, so by the time I did get diagnosed, the fibro was pretty much in control with the O.A. not far behind.
But you just smile and carry on.
Thing I resent most at this time about fibro is that has been taking out my sense of balance and now I have to use a cane for support. I had my 2 year old grand son with me a few weeks ago when my balance just gave which made my leg go numb and down I went! Knocked my head pretty good and sprained my pinky finger. Two strangers stopped to help me, God bless them.
Sorry. Just a little ramble there.
Short info; In some ways, fibro affects us all the same way, in others, you may feel something we've never thought or talked about. Just never stop asking questions.
This was a good one!
