Members overwhelmingly confirmed that regular napping is essential for managing fibromyalgia-related fatigue, with most scheduling naps between 1 and 3 PM to avoid feeling sluggish for the rest of the day. Several members shared how they structure their lives around naps, including working members who rest after their shifts to preserve energy for evening activities, and one member whose vitamin B12 injections reduced their need from constant napping to just once or twice daily. A recurring theme was the recognition that naps are not a luxury but a necessary tool for functioning, with some members humorously noting that their household knows not to disturb them during their designated nap time.

For a few years I was unable to fall asleep at night, much less take a nap. But, now I am sleeping better at night and when I'm off work on the weekends I can!! Feels much better to be able to rest.

I used to take a nap at 2 everyday and everyone knew it. Now I got me an emotional support puppy that likes to get up at 5:30 am. so by 11 I'm ready. Then by 6 pm I want another one, but I don't because I want to be able to go to sleep.
