I'm looking into homeopathic/holistic options. I just don't want to be completely dependent on medication. I love essential oils, coconut oil, etc. My question is, what have you tried that works? I would love recommendations.

Members shared various natural remedies they have found helpful for managing fibromyalgia pain and fatigue, with CBD oil emerging as the most discussed option, with several members reporting improved sleep, reduced pain levels, better mood, and decreased anxiety. Many community members described benefits from turmeric for inflammation, peppermint oil in a diffuser for migraines, acupuncture, massage, Tai Chi for gentle movement and deep breathing, and following a low glycemic index diet. A recurring theme was the importance of finding what works for your individual body, checking legality in your location, and consulting with your doctor before trying new approaches.

Hi Jess01102015, I also now take CBD oil capsules and have found them a great benefit. I am sleeping properly for the first time in years, my moods have lifted, don't feel like I have the weight of the world on my shoulders anymore. My pain levels have decreased, still get pain but nothing as bad as it was. I am more or less back to my old self again. Don't get me wrong , I still have my off days but not as often. I am also on a tiny dose of Amitriptyline. I spoke to my GP about the CBD oil and she said I have her full approval in taking it. It may not suit everyone and I'm aware that it's not legal in some countries. Here in the UK it is legal. Hope this is of use to someone out there.
