I believe Cymbalta, Lyrica, savella, all those meds have so many side effects who needs more to deal with than what we already do?

@A MyFibroTeam Member I absolutely agree. I know it to be fact. Getting off of Cymbalta was the hardest thing I've ever done. Of course, my doctor didn't believe me because the drug companies do not acknowledge that. I truly believe that the way to get through this is with natural stuff. If you get a chance, google this guy. He's got lots of videos on his webpage. I'd love to hear what you think about it.

Right now - nothing. The only thing I take is prilosec for barretts esophagus. I was diagnosed a little over a year ago or 2 maybe by a rheumatologist. He wanted to put me on Cymbalta. I refused that. I had been on that mess for many years. Was put on it when I had breast cancer in 2006 and finally got myself off of it in 2013. That stuff is awful. Anyway, when I refused it, he basically fired me as a patient. There are no other doctors in my city that treat this. So I've just pushed through. My GP has tried to help. I've tried gabapenten - no good. I've used norco - that helps but when it wears off the pain is 10 times worse. I've tried other things - for sleep, for restless leg, for muscle cramps. Nothing works. I've looked into this Dr. Murphree. His philosophy is to treat the cause not the symptoms. And he doesn't use a lot of meds. He uses supplements. I think I'm going to call him this week and set up a consultation. I'm in a very bad flare up right now. Every symptom known to fibro is flaring up in me right now. I can't stand it.

@A MyFibroTeam Member I've been using a relaxation app also to help me get to sleep. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I'm going to see my GP today. I'm going to ask him about Dr. Murphree's reputation.
