Members connected over the frustrating cycle of recurrent UTIs, sharing how factors like hot baths, caffeine, certain foods, and even fibromyalgia itself seemed to trigger infections. Several members offered practical strategies, including switching to fragrance-free products, rinsing undergarments in vinegar, taking probiotics with cranberry or grape seed extract, reducing citrus and caffeine intake, and asking doctors about low-dose preventive antibiotics or testing for interstitial cystitis. A recurring theme was the importance of staying hydrated, urinating frequently, seeking specialist care when needed, and recognizing that what helps one person may not work for another.

I get them every month or two. I've tried everything just keep peeing and go to the doctor for antibiotics as soon as you notice it starting. Also take probiotics to help after the antibiotics.

There are certain foods you have to stay away from with fibromyalgia example caffeine chocolate sugar sugar substitutes and melon kinds of fruit you should really go to Amazon.com or if you have a book store near you they have a fibromyalgia cookbook and it will tell you what foods to stay away from and the best foods for fibromyalgia

I did for 3 years. Please know that cranberry makes the pain worse, I had to avoid citrus to clear it up. Grape-seed extract helped the most and working with a psychologist. Make sure you see a specialist, a low dose of antibiotics might be needed for a month or so. Good luck.

I get uti all the time just had surgery don't know how to spell it but it's like an endoscopy and biopsy for a 11.5 growth they found on uterus but have to wait 8 weeks before results come back to know if it was anything had taping of the bladder 10 years ago about and sometimes taping can tear so I have problems with uti off ten started with infection when I was pregnant with my son 22 years ago but with getting older it's getting worse. So not alone I would ask ur Dr to get pelvic ultrasound or scan that's how they found something with mine so good luck. Hugs take care
