Members shared widely varied medication regimens that have helped manage their fibromyalgia symptoms, with gabapentin, tramadol, and Lyrica emerging as the most commonly mentioned options, often combined with muscle relaxers like baclofen or Flexeril and sleep aids such as Ambien or trazodone. Several members emphasized the importance of supplements, particularly vitamin D3, B12, and K, with some reporting being pain-free or experiencing improved energy through alternative approaches alongside or instead of prescription medications. A recurring theme was that fibromyalgia treatment is highly individual, with members stressing that what works for one person may not work for another, and many expressed a desire to reduce their reliance on pharmaceuticals while still seeking effective relief.

I use a selection of alternative medicine which include Vit D3, vit B12 and vit K. I am pain free, except when I sit for too long then my back stiffens.

Just recently started with K vit after reading a article on B12. I have 3 monthly injections but after 6 weeks it feels like someone has taken my batteries out. It seems that k vit aids absorption of supplements. Let you know in a few more weeks x

I use Gabapentin I am high dose 600 x 3times a day--also 225 effector (not sure of the spelling) this helps some but if I am in a fog and miss a dose the pain hits me like a train and I'm down for a day or two. I am trying to find something natural haven't found it yet but sure hope I do. I don't like putting all these drugs in my system. Take care I am not as bad as a lot of people that have Fibromyalgia. Soft hugs

I take Gabapentin but don't get much relief from it. I get more pain relief from my pain meds: 15 Mg of Morphine ER 2/day, 10 Mg Flexeril 2/day, and 7.5 Hydrocodone 4/ day.
For depression and anxiety : 10 Mg Lexapro 1/day and 0.5 Mg xanax 2/ day.
