I know that pain doctors or any doctors are not wanting to even bring in new pain patients and pain doctors are becoming obsolete. With Ohio just putting new laws in place & insurance companies. I live about 20 -30 mins north of Dayton , in Piqua , ohio. So if you can think of anyone please let me know. Thanks bunches!
@A MyFibroTeam Member I'm so sorry, I was thinking Dayton was near Akron-Canton not over by Cincinnati. If you ever do get to the other side of the state, he's worth talking to :-)
Not a pain doctor but since you tagged your inquiry with Fibromyalgia, have you ever seen Dr. Mark Pellegrino, a physiatrist (physical medicine doctor) in Canton, Ohio? Dr. Pellegrino has personally treated 25,000 FM patients and lived with fibromyalgia himself since he was a child so he understands. I'm down in the SE corner of Ohio so I was only able to see him once but he was very helpful. He also has written a book about dealing with fibro - "Fibromyalgia, Up Close and Personal".
@A MyFibroTeam Member thanks so much! With all my pain, a husband with crohnes & a son with Autism, maybe it's time to move to a bigger area with more help. Ty again hun. I'll have to check his book out.
