How do you sleep when your legs are hurting like a rubber band is tight around them.
Oh man, I totally sympathize with you. I have many many nights with leg pain. It feels like the night continues on and on. I don't know anything that does the trick every time but as others have posted, I take a muscle relaxer (Tizanidine) each night before bed, as well as 1/2 Trazodone (which helps with falling asleep as well as anxiety), keep up on pain medication, sometimes try hot bath before bed, and use pillows under knees and calves. I am so so sorry you're having so much pain that causes sleepless nights. Like I said, it doesn't help every night but maybe you'll be able to get a few nights of rest.
I take magnesium, pillow between my knees, pain meds, sometimes my electric throw and if nothing else works I'm up all night. Good luck and gentle hugs
@A MyFibroTeam Member> I do my best to prep for sleeping, and the possibility of the leg discomfort. I have hot water bottle, ice pack, pillows for propping, hot shower or soak, good movie lined up in case I'm unable to get to sleep or remain asleep for to discomfort.
I take Magnesium before bed, and put a pillow between my knees! Seems to help me.
The most helpful thing for me was my electric blanket. I've found that too hot doesn't help if used for too long. I pray that you find some relief.
