Has anyone tried meditation for the pain, stress and chronic fatigue. I have . Worth a try Will explain further Later
Yes, meditation helps me. Just the simple breath in and breath out can calm me down now. I think yoga and massage therapy have helped me. Reading everything I can find about fibro has helped me feel like I have a bag of tricks to try when my fibro is really bad. Sometimes I just have to give up, get my hot water bottle and crawl into bed. Hope this helps.
Yes the audio tones of meditation music seem to somewhat calm the symptoms. It has to be done daily and YouTube has a wonderful variety of music for this. I like Tibetan singing bowls with rain but there is so much more to choose from.
Thank you. For me it is the best option. I am bedridden and live in a country city and have no way of being able to attend a professional. I have no money and the free MP3 guided meditation by Zen 12 and Brain Ev. and also those on U tube are all of great help as rhe medical profession seems to have no idea.
Yes, psychological aids, where ever you find them are good things. If you have the discipline to use mediation, self-hypnosis, relaxation therapy's, then by all means use them... for me, identifying the exact source of the pain helps me focus and control it
