I was started on this a month ago juzt a 1/2 tab then incteaseｑ.so 3 days ago began 1 tab q hs.I'm now having horrible hip pain swelling in hand and feet and knuckles excessively thirsty constipated even whrn tsking linzess shoulders neck very stiff and sore. I would talk to your doctor immediately. I have been on a large dose 175mg of Effexor (Venlafaxine is the generic I'm on) for my hip pain and it has worked wonders. Prior to this dose I was on 35 mg and had terrible hip pain to the point of being unable to walk very well. The increased dose took it away and I was told by the Dr that sometimes a large dose is prescribed for pain management. I'll never be able to get off this medication because the side effects are disabling but that's ok, if I can function well on it then no reason to get off it. I hope you find some relief fast!
I had bad side effects with all but Savella. Even gabapentin. The only thing that ever worked 100% was Vic's Tramadol and savella
I would discuss your symptoms with your Dr to see if they are med related. I also, have had bad side effects with Gabapentin and Lyrica.
I thought that venlafaxine was for depression i got put on that years ago on a very high dose but they only made me feel out of it i actually weaned my self off them
