Ok fibro warriors I have a question. I have a very sore tongue. I have cracks in my tongue and the tip of my tongue has a few bumps and it very red. Does anyone else have this. I'm trying to figure out if this is yet another symptom of fibro. I rinsed my mouth out with peroxide. I do not brush my tongue every day. I only do it once or twice a week. Maybe I need to do it every day. IDK!! I'm so frustrated. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Sue

hope u don't mind me saying but try warm sea salt in boiled water to swill around your mouth.I have been plaged with thrush for years until I stumbled on this and I find salt water works better than any stuff the doctor gave me. Also drink honey and lemon drink easy to make 2 teaspoons honey cut lemon in half and squeeze half a lemon in your mug then fill with hot water from kettle and stir well. Lemon is a natural cleaner and honey will help heal.
Have you caught yourself sleeping with mouth open? That'll dry out your tongue, and so will some meds. Find a position to sleep with mouth closed. I also use gum n mints, and sip green tea all day.
I have also had that with Fibromyalgia. Now everything makes my tongue burn. Mouthwash is the worst. I ask my husband if it taste bad and made his tongue burn and he said no. Fibro seems to just take over our bodies and cause the strangest things to happen to us. Hugs
