Members shared mixed experiences with trigger point injections in their feet for severe foot pain, with most describing the procedure as intensely painful but many finding the relief well worth the temporary discomfort. Several members reported significant improvement in mobility and pain levels after the injections, though results varied, with some noting that certain injections helped while others did not. A recurring theme was the debilitating nature of foot pain that makes walking difficult, with members comparing it to feeling like broken bones, and while some pursue steroid injections others opt for alternatives like Botox or anesthetic injections due to concerns about bone health.

No, but at one point my feet were so bad I could hardly walk. If you tried to massage them if felt like the bones were all broken and I would almost go thru the roof! They stayed like that for about 6 months and now they are sore and stiff, but not unbearable. I bet shots in the foot would hurt!!!

@A MyFibroTeam Member the pain was unbearable with the injections but I'd do it again in a heart beat because it made my feet feel thousand times better .

YES! pout, and it's agony! Electric shocks to numbness. Nothing showing up on the MRI--they just didn't get far enough because at first it felt like a piece of glass. that was years ago so it's just numb now at times. Both feet pinch, sharp pains, etc. swelling. heavy sigh. Gentle hugs!
