LDN is Low Dose Naltrexone. Naltrexone is a drug that stops the activity of opioids and alcohol. It has been found that low doses (titrating up to 4.5 mg rather than a full dose of 50 mg) can relieve pain.

I was only on LDN for 1 month before I had to quit taking it. I take extra Cymbalta, which takes the edge off.

I took LDN and it really worked for me. Another doctor (not the prescribing one) told me to get my liver enzymes checked once per month. I did and my liver enzymes skyrocketed! So I had to go off of it.

What is LDN? I can't take ibuprofen because of my kidney disease so I take 1 percocet a day. I'm worried about my liver too from the acetaminophen. Not to mention the narcotic itself and all that goes along with that.
