Have you tried a hot bath with epsom salts and lavender oil?
I find it really eases stiffness and joint pain, and calms those sensations we can feel like soreness and numbness.
@A MyFibroTeam Member everyday and yes, my arms and legs sometimes feel like they weigh a ton and it is hard to move them. Sometimes I laugh at myself because I literally have to think about making them move...laugh otherwise I will cry (((hugs)))
The way my rheumatologist explained it to me nearly 20 years ago....fibro is an unexplained illness that is diagnosed by eliminating all other diseases of possibility. You would think that it would have been better diagnosed by now! Autoimmune disease is one of the diseases that concur with fibro. Fibromyalgia most commonly follows an accident or illness that causes severe trauma to the body. It nearly always arracks one side of the body or another, rarely both at the same time. There are 15 trigger points associated with fibro, and is diagnosed when 7 or more are inflamed at the same time. One reason it has been ignored is that it is thought of as being a "woman's " disease. Kind of like having the "vapors" was for so many years. Although we all know how much of a disease that one was. However, many doctors still think of both diseases being in the same class. I don't know how much help this one has for you. I do know that in my case, one physician will tell me that I have an amazing resistance to pain, while another tells me that I am to sensitive....go figure!

I'm going to start soaking in epson salts , see how that goes, I also want to start excersing. I'm so willing to try things even if it help a little. Yesterday was ruff for me. Had a couple breakdowns . but I fought through them just keep trying to keep busy as best as possible, and my little girl also help me do that. Wishing you well, I hope you find something that can help you! Sending hugs your way!
