Chest Pain?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anybody else suffer with chest pain? My doctor said it was a fibro thing called chondrotitis, inflammatory condition of the rib cage. It hurts with movement and sometimes without. It's more of a dull ache that can move into my shoulders. As well. Thank you 😊. I pray for all of you that suffer with this isolating disease. Warmly, Deb

I have those same thoughts. My wonderful Primary care Dr. who has left
The practice 😞, said to me "Don't ever assume that all your physical symptoms are a derivative of your fibromyalgia. Better to be safe." On that note, I will feel free to question my body without letting others make me feel like a hypochondriac!

I too have chest pains. It scared me so much, I went to the emergency room twice. Both times, heart, lungs, etc fine. It's fibro. How embarrassing. I even had pains in my left arm & parts of my legs. Now what I am concerned about is"what happens if the real thing happens?"

My mother in law has pain in her chest. It hurts her when she mops or runs the vacuum. It has for years.

I have had costo for about 2-3 years now. I have flare ups that will not allow me to wear a bra or be hugged too tightly. I have tried to eliminate foods and drinks that cause inflammation. Recently have gone from vegetarian to vegan partly due to the fact that dairy can cause inflammation. Also may be battling Lupus and Ankylosing Spondalosis which seems to be linked to fibro. I also notice that heavy lifting can cause a flare up. Mine mostly is at the bottom of my rib cage along the sides and back.
