More specifically can you tell the difference on your bed covers. I eat and drink on my bed and sometimes my bed feels wet even when it's dry and opposite. It's very annoying I also sweat a lot so a lot of times when I feel the bed covers or pillows should be wet they are dry and the opposite. Is this a part of Fibro?

Members validated the experience of struggling to distinguish wet from dry sensations, particularly on bed covers, with many sharing similar phantom feelings of wetness or temperature changes on their skin despite being completely dry. Several members suggested neuropathy as a possible cause, especially for those with diabetes, while others recommended using breathable fabrics to help regulate body heat and reduce confusion between trapped warmth and actual moisture. A recurring theme was relief at discovering others share these unsettling sensations, with members expressing gratitude for the community's understanding and reassurance that they aren't alone or imagining these experiences.

I've not experienced that in particular but I did have the sensation that my calf on my left leg was wet when it was totally dry. That only lasted about 3 months and would come and go. Has never come back in the last 8 months. Not sure what is happening with your sense of touch. Maybe neuropathy and you need to make an appointment with your doctor see what he thinks. Gentle hugs and God bless.

I too have experienced this. Often I feel like my sheet is wet, but it might just be a cooler patch. Or my body feels wet in a particular place but isn't, no sweating etc. I just thought it was weird and have dealt with it as "one of those things." Nice to know that phantom sensations is not just a problem in my head. I often fear I'm going around the bend when stuff like this happens. Xx

Yes! I can't tell what's wet or dry and I can't always tell the difference between extreme temperatures. I get sensations that feel like water running down my arms or legs.
