A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

How do you deal with chest pain and breathlessness? This is my first experience of this, has lasted 31/2 weeks now.

I have it sometimes and whe. I went to the er they said everything was fine. I think it is anxiety related with me and it helps to lay down and relax and not think about it.

Do you mean costochondritis? I've suffered with it on and off. But at the moment have pain behind my left breast which I need to go and get checked out, I don't get breathlessness with it, but you should get checked out x

I had several tests for this and they all came back clear. I've had it for ears now but it does worry me that I wouldn't know if I was having a heart attack 😨 If I were you I would still have it checked out because I'm sure it's causing more anxiety

You should consult a doctor to be sure it is not heart related.
