This is new as of a couple weeks. I think it started once I started Cymbalta a month ago, but not 100% sure. I dont feel like I am emotional eating either. There is legitimate pain in my stomach as if I am starving.
Any answers?

Members rallied around someone experiencing severe hunger pains even after eating, with many sharing they had experienced the same unsettling feeling and initially thought they were alone or just overeating. Several members connected the constant hunger to medications, particularly Cymbalta, Gabapentin, prednisone, and metformin, while one member discovered their symptoms were actually caused by GERD and encouraged seeing a doctor for proper diagnosis. A recurring theme was relief at discovering this was a shared experience rather than a personal failing, along with practical advice to wean off medications slowly under medical guidance, increase water intake to manage dry mouth and false hunger signals, and seek medical evaluation to rule out underlying conditions.

Have you been on cortisone? I remember joking with my former rheumatologist "get me off this stuff before I eat the house!"

Thank you Jesus! Someone had the same thing,. I thought it was me, for sometimes in the middle of the night l get so, so hungry. I just didn't think it was the fibro, or any of my meds, l thought it was winter time and l just was eating a lot. So now l try to eat something before going to bed, if not l am so hungry ๐Ÿ˜ฎWhen l go out l think of food, and that is not me at all. I be interested to see the answers to your question. Love, love this group for you are "not" alone. Stay so blessed in our Lord Jesus. ๐Ÿ’œ

Make sure you wean off slowly though, you should ask your doctor how much at a time to subtract. I hope you find what works for you. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Thank you ALL for these responses! They helped a lot.
I think it may be Cymbalta. I'm actually going to quit taking these meds as they have caused worse insomnia and I think the hunger pains.
Praying for you all that you find relief! The Lord is our comfort, he empathizes with our pain. ๐Ÿ’—

I have experienced hunger pains, especially in the night, but I put it down to cutting my portion intake as I've been put on Gabapentin for pain relief & one of the side effects is weight gain.. now I'm wondering if it's just another weird & wonderful fibro symptom!?๐Ÿ™„
