So what do you do when your even more tired then normal?
For a few months I guess I've been so tired I'm lucky to go from bed to the couch. My body is so weak.
I mean worse then ever.
I know about flares but this doesn't seem to be like that. It's like I'm just getting worse n worse.
Any thoughts?

I can get up in the morning feeling totally exhausted even though I wear sleep apnea equipment! I was told several years ago that if I wore the equipment I would feel so much more rested in the morning. I still wake up exhausted after 4 sleep studies. I think the Fibro is causing the exhaustion? I wouldn't be suprised if I also have seasonal affective disorder as I'm more depressed in the Winter. I do find that I can feel extremely tired and when I go to bed, I can lay there for hours and not be able to go to sleep. Sometimes taking a low dose of medication for anxiety helps me to go to sleep.
I have what I call "spells of fatigue" and I hate them so much. I'm totally exhausted and seem to need to sleep more than normal (which for me is 12 plus hours or more) I have no energy and can't seem to function. These are as bad as the pain for me. I do my best during this period to eat well...take my vitamins plus all natural Alaskan fish oil tablets. I rest when I need to and know that sooner or later I will start to have a bit more energy. I often wonder if maybe my body is shutting down awhile from dealing with pain day after day. It takes tons of energy to deal with pain each day and our bodies can't keep up. So my best advice is to take good care of yourself during this time and know that maybe our bodies are smart and rest is exactly what you are needing to do to care for yourself the best way.
I also agree that getting some sunshine (natural or lightbox is ideal) Vitamin D depletion can increase our pain and also cause fatigue so that is a win win.
The fatigue is what impacts me the most and when I have a flare getting out of bed to go to the bathroom is all I can handle. My doctor and I have worked out a routine. Every 3 months sometimes longer I can take a steroid. I take a round of steroids when I Cant get out of bed. Here is the deal though...í cannot do it more than once every 3 months and I have to budget when I do it. For example... A time at work when I can't miss unless I am dead, when my son graduates from basic training, when my other son gets married, when my dad was hospitalized. The other times I must pace myself so I do not end up in bed and not able to get out. That means that every other weekend I rest the entire weekend. I can only be out one Night a week during a work week. I choose what I spend my very little energy on very carefully.
Jess I know exactly what you are talking about! I wake up tired! I feel this way nearly every day. I have taken vitamin B complex and still don't have any energy! I go to Physical Therapy and try to go to the health club to no avail! I also drink coffee but it doesn't release any benefits except wake me up. Hope you find something that helps and when you do let me know. Hugs 🤗
